Nestlé India Champions Pet Parenthood with Special Leave and Premium Petcare Support for Employees

Nestlé India is proud to announce a new policy aimed at supporting employee pet parents.

To celebrate the joy of adopting a puppy or kitten, Nestlé India is offering new pet parents a

selection of premium Purina Petcare products, including Supercoat Puppy Food, Pro Plan

Puppy Food, Friskies Kitten Food, and Felix Kitten Food.

Nestlé India also understands that welcoming a new pet into a home is a big responsibility.

To enable its employees to better shoulder this responsibility, the Company also continues

to support its employees with dedicated "paw-ternity" leaves. New pet parents can take two

days off to bond with their furry companions and ensure a smooth transition into their new

lives together.

Ms. Pallavi Anand, Head, Purina Petcare, India, shared her excitement about this initiative.

She said “At Purina, we believe that every pet deserves the best start in life. Our new pet

feeding policy is a celebration of the love and commitment that comes with adopting a pet.

We want to support new pet parents with the best possible nutrition as they bring home a

puppy or kitten. At the heart of this initiative is Purina’s deep commitment to creating richer

lives for pets and the people who love them!"

Mr. Anurag Patnaik, Head, Human Resources, Nestlé India said “At Nestlé India, we are

proud to support our people in every way, including the companions they bring home. The

Staff Pet Feeding Policy is a practical step in making pet adoption more accessible for our

teams. We look forward to seeing more furry friends become part of our extended family.”

With this initiative, Nestlé India aims to foster a loving environment for pets and their

parents, ensuring that every adoption is met with the care and support it deserves.
