With Bowlers™ and Purrfeto™, ACPL focuses on innovation, deeper distribution, and leadership in India’s evolving pet care market.

Allana Consumer Products Ltd. (ACPL), part of the 160-year-old Allana Group, has announced that its pet food vertical has crossed ₹200 crore in annual revenue. This achievement, led by the success of its brands Bowlers™ (for dogs) and Purrfeto™ (for cats), marks one of the most impactful new entries into India’s growing pet care sector.

Commenting on the growth, Raj Lekhwani, Group CFO, Allana said, “Crossing ₹200 crore is, indeed, a revenue milestone. We are seeing the rise of a deeply engaged, health-conscious pet parent someone who wants quality, safety, and transparency. With Bowlers and Purrfeto, we didn’t just launch products we launched a commitment to better nutrition, built on scientific validation and end-to-end traceability.”

He added, “The cat food segment is especially underpenetrated and highly primed for expansion. Our wet food offerings are showing repeat consumption and gaining share faster than expected. But we see this vertical as a long game. Our focus now is to deepen product innovation, strengthen distribution, and create a direct relationship with the consumer. Our medium-term goal is to be among the top three pet food players in India while simultaneously unlocking export potential across key global markets.”
Looking ahead, ACPL aims to expand its offerings by introducing functional and condition-specific diets, as well as breed-specific formulations. The company also plans to accelerate its wet food innovation pipeline for both dog and cat segments. Since its launch, ACPL has established a robust distribution network, with a presence in over 20,000 general trade outlets and across all major e-commerce platforms. Additionally, its brands are making inroads into modern trade, breeder networks, and veterinary clinics.

All products are manufactured at ACPL’s integrated facility in India, ensuring complete oversight of formulation, quality, and regulatory compliance. The product lines are developed in collaboration with veterinary nutritionists and food scientists and meet both AAFCO and FSSAI standards.

Bowlers™ offers wet and dry food tailored for various dog life stages and breed sizes, while Purrfeto™ caters to feline needs with a range of dry kibble and gravy-based wet foods. Both are fortified with essential nutrients like taurine, omega fatty acids, prebiotics, and vital vitamins and minerals for comprehensive pet health.

This success reflects ACPL’s overarching strategy of building science-driven consumer brands, strengthened by robust supply chains and a commitment to uncompromising quality—an approach that has shaped its growth across edible oils, frozen foods, and now, pet nutrition.
